Beau is home in Canada!
After meeting his new family, attending a 3 day long dog show, Beau headed north to Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada! First reports are wonderful! The other dogs love him, he is adjusting to northern life just great! We hope to have pictures soon!

Meet Beauregard! He is going to Balsam Ridge Standard Poodles in Thunder Bay, Ontario Canada!
This handsome tri-color boy is already quite the traveler! He was conceived at Kitsue's in Oklahoma, born at Boehm Standard Poodles in Illinois, and is in St. Louis, Missouri at Crossbrook Poodles on his final stop before heading home to Canada in October. This summer the weather has been crazy hot, therefore tooooo hot to ship a puppy on an airplane. His new family will be coming to St. Louis in October to pick him up and take him home! This is our way of keeping them up to date on how he is growing, playing and just loving the life of a poodle. He is such a sweet mellow boy! Our poodles, Violet and Glory are adjusting, Glory is less than thrilled at the moment. Violet loves him!

Hard to believe only a few days until his new family arrives to get him!
What a journey this has been! I went to Kitsue's in Oklahoma to pick out our next puppy, Zinnia. I arrived there August 5th, and I am serious when I tell you that the actual temperature was 115 when I stepped out of my air conditioned car. Hottest place I have ever been, and I have been almost to the equator! Due to the heat wave all over the country, Kitsue's was unable to ship a certain boy puppy to Thunder Bay, Ontario Canada. The airlines weren't flying any puppies anywhere! The family in Canada was so disappointed, he was actually a birthday present for Jan :( I said I would get him as far as St. Louis and we would figure it out from there. It stayed hot for weeks! The family in Canada had puppies due around Labor Day and travel for them became impossible. Fast forward to the end of October......there is a dog show in St. Louis..........Canadian family on their way!!!
Beau has been such a joy from the minute I put him into my car to bring him here. Not a peep out of him, he arrived with tail wagging and a smile in his heart! He has become part of our family, runs with the big dogs. He has learned his place in the pecking order and doesn't take toys away from Glory :) He sleeps all night in his crate, goes to the door when he has to go potty, comes when I call his name and sits for treats! He is a dream to groom, first time in the tub he just stood and played in the water, and wasn't afraid of the big bad dryer at all! We love this little guy, and are so happy to finally be seeing his new family welcome him to the next step of his journey! It will be hard to see him leave, but I know he will have an amazing life with Doug and Jan at Balsam Ridge Poodles, and I am sure they will let us come visit anytime! Thanks for sharing this journey with us! Love you Beau Beau!
