We are a family that loves the standard poodle! Our dogs are members of our family, live in our house and are spoiled on a daily basis. We live in Webster Groves, Missouri, just west of St. Louis. Our dream of breeding standard poodles has been a remarkable journey. A journey filled with a few bumps along the way.
Our first standard, Lily, developed Addison's disease at a young age and lived only 3 1/2 years. This heartbreak caused us to look for breeders who were keeping a close eye on pedigrees and PRH results that would lessen the chance for future heartbreak.
We found such a breeder, Sue Abeln of Kit-sue's Poodles www.kitsuepoodles.com . She is internationally known, one of her dogs was invited to do a demonstration at the Crufts Dog Show in England in March 2010. The accomplishments of her dogs and their many titles speak for themselves. Check out her website and look for Phil, the search and rescue poodle!
We are very proud to be joining Kitsue's to provide you with the highest quality standard poodle puppies! We are friends, partners and just plain poodle crazy!
Our dream was to have a litter of standard poodles in our home. We wanted the best of the best, and after much searching and hard work, that dream is about to come true.
Our puppies will be under our careful eye from the moment they are born. The whelping room is in the sunroom just outside our bedroom so we can check on them, best of all play with them, all the time.
Thanks for visiting, enjoy our website, and I hope someday you will have a standard poodle to love! They really are the best!
Our first litter was from Kitsue's Fanny and Kitsue's Colt, Fanny is the sweetest dog ever, and fit right in from the moment she arrived. I thank my friend Sue Abeln for the honor of allowing me to have this litter at my house! Eleven beautiful standard poodle babies began an amazing journey on March 12th, and each and every one will forever have a place in my heart. They are all living with their forever families. It was so sad to see each and every one of them leave, but very rewarding. Each one of them was born into my hands, literally, and I was able to place each puppy into the waiting arms of their new family. Tears of joy for sure! Can't wait to do it all again!!
