Zinnia is here!
In the wee hours before dawn on September 17th, I got in my car and drove through torrential downpours, multiple speed traps along with accidents AND thunder and lightening, to Joplin, MO. Kitsue's was meeting me there with this beautiful red and white tuxedo baby. We have named her Kitsue's Crossbrook Juillet Zinnia. I will explain :)
First, it must be a flower name. Second, she was born on Bastille Day, July 14th. The french word for July is Juillet! So, the place where she was born goes first, the place where she will live goes second, then her own name! Sounds complicated, but it looks good on paper :) We will just call her Zinnia, or "Z" for short! She slept most of the way home, and is trying to make herself at home in this crazy place. It is especially crazy right now with Beau, who will be here for about 6 more weeks. He wants to play with her so bad! Glory and Violet are just shaking their heads! Let the fun begin!

Thirteen weeks old, and growing like a red weed!
Time sure goes by fast, things are a little crazy around here with Beau and the newest member of Crossbrook, Zinnia! She is a spunky, sweet perfect poodle baby! Of course we might be just a little bias :) She had a bath today, still not crazy about the dryer! She will learn, they all do eventually. But for now, she will try to squirm out of my arms!
Zinnia is 6 months old!
Snow fell overnight, and Zinnia is thrilled! Poodles love snow, don't know why, they just do!
She is as big as Violet, at 8 months, better buy more food!
Zinnia is such a lovely soul, she is tender hearted, smart, fearless and loves being a poodle! Not so fond of the dreaded bath, but put a treat in the tub and she is IN! We love this dog! I can't wait to get her into the ring, she will show at UKC Premier in Kalamazoo June 14th. She will be shown in the Puppy Class, and she just might be the biggest one in there! Should be a blast!
She is officially the biggest!
I knew she was going to be tall, but I had no idea she would pass up both Glory and violet before she turned 9 months old! She is a total clown, a little reserved with new people, for about 3 minutes!
She is learning to be still on the grooming table, treats help huge! And her favorite thing to do is stand up on the fence and watch the neighbor boys play on the trampoline!

They are best friends!
Violet loves Zinnia, and Zinnia loves Violet. I don't have to tell you that it means a constant rustle of poodlemania in my house.
Zinnia has Violet's ear hair in her mouth and when I groom Violet I can see tiny tiny bite marks on her back legs.......Violet will be glad when she gets her big girl teeth!
