Early one Sunday morning, car packed the night before, I headed to Colorado! First stop was Colby, KS! I arrived at the pet friendly hotel and set up the room for a sleepover the next night that would involve 4 puppies and an adult standard poodle. Up early..... Next stop....Le Harrell's Standard Poodles in Colorado. I had waited a very long time for this amazing genetic combination, and she was finally on her way home!
Next stop...Parker, CO to pick up an adult standard to bring back to a friend in St. Louis. This girl would turn out to be the best travel buddy ever!
Next stop...back to the hotel for the night. I admit it was a circus with 4, 8 week old, poodle puppies...but we did it! Up before dawn to head back to home in Illinois. Stopping along the way to hand off puppies to waiting families....worth every mile! LAST stop....HOME!
