Kitsue's Crossbrook 4 Leaf...we call her Clover!
Every puppy has a story, Clover's story is especially sweet. Almost 13 years ago we got a German Shorthair puppy, Daphne Jane :) Daphne welcomed each new puppy with an open heart, allowed them to chew on her ears until they were soaked, she taught them the complicated process of housetraining, she loved them.
Well, Daphne's health had deteriorated over those years to the point that it was time to say goodbye. A decision that was months in the making, that day came on March 17th. Many miles away almost to the very minute I kissed Daphne's face for the last time, a puppy was born. They say every time a baby is born, someone is taking their last breath, one such baby is Clover. Sometimes stars line up, the karma Gods wave a wand, someone finds a 4 leaf clover. March 17th will forever be a sad day, but also a day that a new sweet soul came into this world to bring joy. We welcome this little bundle of joy, Clover!
Clover is the biggest girl here at Crossbrook, almost 60 pounds and almost 27 inches tall at the shoulder. She is spunky, sweet, silly and SO friendly! She is my husbands favorite....and he says that OUT LOUD in front of the others :)
It's a girl!! We have a new baby coming to Crossbrook at the end of May. Her name will be Kitsue's Crossbrook 4 Leaf, we will call her Clover! And of course, just like all the girls, she will have her own page! Check back for more pictures as we welcome her home!
