This is Skye, a retired show girl!  She will be looking for her forever home after her spay in August.  She is located near St. Louis, MO.  We prefer she stay local so the breeder can be nearby for support.  She loves everyone she has ever met!  Great with kids, and other household pets!  She is such a sweet girl, and would be an amazing addition to any home!  Contact us if you would like more information about this sweet girl!

Occasionally we know of older dogs available for adoption.  These might be retired females, older pups not suited for breeding, owner changes in circumstances.  

A retired female is a wonderful "rehome" dog!  They are housebroken, used to living inside with a family.  We are always on the lookout for the perfect home for our girls when they are ready retirement!  Violet is living the country club life with my brother and sister in law about 15 minutes from me....best home ever!  Iris lives with my friend Jennifer and her other standard Jett.  And Clover lives with my friend Debbie and her other standard Toni.

We had a beautiful black and white named Glory, who after health testing was determined NOT to be breeding quality because of bad hips and her teeth were very crooked.  These things can be passed on to puppies, so she was spayed and placed with a dear friend, Missy and her family.  She lived to be 13 years old, very loved, and very lucky!

Occasionally a previous puppy family will have a change in their lives that make it best to rehome their puppy.  This puppy can be any age!  At Crossbrook we make a promise to the puppies that we are ALWAYS home, and we will help families to make decisions that are in the best interest of the puppy. 

We are familiar with many breeders, and often other breeders will reach out to each other trying to find the best home for a poodle....we are always happy to help!  I keep a file with ALL the inquiries about puppies, I will reach out to those who have expressed an interest in an older puppy, or mature adult whenever I hear of something!

We are also involved with the Missouri Poodle Rescue organization and have helped place several poodles, and poodle mixes of various sizes and age!
